All,

The team did a good job against Mahtomedi on Saturday.  Our team page on the NSP site has been updated with a new look.  If you have feedback on the page please let Yucel know.

A couple of update items:

-  Saturday we will have our team pictures @ 2:40 pm at the NSP Community Center.  We will wear our White jersey and game socks.  Please be there no later than 2:30.  If everyone is there on time it will only take a few minutes for all the photos.

- Sunday we are going to have a dry land/ position walk through at Northwood park.  Please be there at 9:45 am.  We will be walking through positions until 10:15 when we will depart for our practice at Polar at 11:00 am.

- Tuesday 11/24 @ 5:20 we will be at Phalen (not Harding) and we will be scrimmaging one of the White Bear teams.

If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks
Marc.

All,

The team page has been updated with some recent info, please take a look.

The boys did a really good job on Saturday vs. Johnson/Como.  We are looking forward to seeing how things go on Saturday vs. Mahtomedi.

We added a practice on Friday 7:00 at Polar.  The A Squirts were nice enough to give us their hour since they had a scrimmage with another team.

For Saturday - Remember to be at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the scrimmage (by 5:00 pm).  Please bring both jerseys (we will most likely be wearing white).

Our first Tournament game looks like it will be at 1:45 pm on Friday 11/27. More info to come on that.

The league game schedule should be out shortly.  We will have 14 league games starting the first week of December and running through the end of February.

I'm going to be out of the office for Thursday and Friday this week.  If you need to contact me please contact my home or cell number.

See you at the rink.

Thanks
Marc.

All,

Just a couple of quick items as we start doing scrimmages:

  • Please check your player's mouth guards. Some look like they are a little bit chewed up. They should fit the teeth well enough that they can breathe through their mouths and not fall off the top teeth. Also, everyone needs to have one in and attached to the face mask. This includes goalies. This is really important as they have to wear them, no exceptions and they do help protect the player.
  • Check your player's skates to see if they need to be sharpened. Some are harder on the edges than others but if they have not been sharpened since the start of the season they most likely need a new edge. If you have questions on how to check if they are still sharp please see me or Tom at the practices.

See you at the rink.
Thanks,
Marc
